Yogile is a photo sharing service that takes all the obstacles out of the way. With Yogile, you can start a photo album under your account, and family and friends can contribute to that album without even having an account of their own. That’s what I think sets Yogile apart.
For instance, let’s assume you have taken pictures at your family’s last Christmas get-together….and so did several other family members. You can create a photo album and let all your family know where the pictures can be viewed. They can easily contribute their pictures to that album, and there’s just no hassle what so ever. You can password protect the album so just anyone can’t add to the album, but you don’t have to. There’s a minimum amount of buttons you have to push, and the fact they don’t have to create an account to take part makes it as easy as pie! Check it out….it’s free.
Can any person see your photos or do you just send your family a hidden URL?
I believe anyone can see them as long as they know the url. However, when you create the album, you can choose whether to have the album listed in their ‘public albums’.
I usually use Flickr or Photobucket. Both services have worked out fantastically for me in regards to photo sharing. Nevertheless, I think I am going to try out Yogile and see if which of the three services are the best. I keep jumping back and forth between Flickr and Photobucket, maybe Yogile is a good medium.
I use Flickr too, but the point is the ease in which you can share photos. Others can contribute to the album without even having an account. Pretty neat.
I use flickr, it is good. But yogile is really nice. worth checking out.
Yogile sounds interesting. I may just convert from flickr.
