I read over the WP codex on moving the blog, but then tried to do it from memory rather than going step by step. I was able to get back on the blog after moving a few files around, but I couldn't log in. I ended up downloading the files to my pc and deleting the whole directory off the server. When you installed WordPress in your root folder, did you add the name of the original database to the config file?
