It's like an open zoo. Big sharks can swim in two feet of water. Even a small shark can either kill you or tear you up so bad that you won't live. Sharks spend their entire life cruising for food. I've seen millions of jellyfish with stinging tenacles drifting along side of my boat only fifty feet from shore. The list of ocean predators continues to grow. I want to die in bed, not in the belly of some ocean creature. You wouldn't go to a zoo if all the cages were open, would you? Most people think they're safe if they only go in up to their waist. WRONG! I picked up a beached jelly one time and it took me over a month to get over the sting-a-blasts! Forget the vinegar and salt. Once you are stung or bitten by a single thing, a swarm, or school of them, its over! Just remember the river fish (name?) with the jaws and teeth that can nick hardened steel. The school of these fish will strip a body clean down to a skeleton in minutes. Is swimming in an open zoo that important to you???
