Check Out My Bookstore!
If you take a look at the very top of the page, you’ll notice I added a bookstore. The majority of the books are web design related, and I also have a few other books(fiction and non-fiction) that I’ve read lately. All of the web design books are books that I either have and would recommend, or they’re books I have on my “plan to get” list.
I also added a few movies. Some of them aren’t all that popular, but I consider them some of my favorites.
The store is an Amazon store and took all of about twenty minutes to set up and embed on the site.
Update: After having this store on my site for a couple of months with no sales, I decided to close it and move on…

Nice use of iframe… I initially thought that Amazon released some sort of API for WordPress specifically when I first viewed the page.
Anyway, if you haven’t found it yet, wp-amazon is a pretty nifty Amazon plugin for WP.
I wasn’t familiar with that, Azmeen…….thanks. I’m gonna experiment with it.
I don’t really expect to start making big bucks with Amazon :-), but I think having the books available here will be a cool way to recommend them whether anyone buys them here or not.

I’ve been thinking about doing this same thing on Zoomstart with business books, but a little differently by reveiwing the books and linking to the review posts from a central page.

Hey, that’s a good idea.
The store is a good idea and I had considered doing on my site at one time, but just never got around to it.
I especially like Shane’s idea of creating reviews for the books as well.
