SitePoint’s CSS Reference

New CSS reference from SitePoint is now online. It’s actually fairly extensive, and will make a great reference when coming across those annoying things that just won’t work.

MySpace, Facebook, etc.

It continues to baffle me how people think they can act like idiots online, and never expect any adverse affects. More and more people are finding out that what they post on social networks can have a very negative influence over their future.

January Update

It’s been an eventful couple of weeks. As I reported in my previous post, I’ve had some major PC issues in the last couple of weeks. I’ve been able to get most of my needed files, etc. off my old hard drive. This has been a time-consuming task. Also my work schedule has changed dramatically in the last couple of weeks. I’ve gone from working nights to a day-time schedule.

Coming up is an updated version of the Fastway theme for Wordpress…..stay tuned.

Adding Asides, Losing Mini-blog

I’m not sure how many people actually noticed the mini-blog I had at the bottom of the page. I don’t think very many, and that’s why I’ve decided to get rid of it, and add the small mini-posts aka asides within the body of my blog. This only adds functionality to my site. Thanks to Daniel Denk for the great how-to.

Death in the Family

My grandmother passed away Saturday morning(1-5-08). She was 85 and died as a result of a stroke she had a couple of weeks ago. I consider it a blessing that she had a long healthy life and didn’t have to suffer long. I won’t be online much for a few days…
